• Hybrids are rare. Like very rare. So much so that the Volturi are very blind to their existance.
  
• Vegetarian Vampires a rare. Very few. There are only two official covens of them so it can be assumed that they are nearly unheard of in Meyer's world.
  
• Werewolf females are rare. Leah's transformation was a shock, so it draws to the conclusion that Werewolves are typically male.
  
• There are typically a lot more humans than Vampires/Werewolves. Remember, their existence is supposed to be secret. If it turns out that all we have is vampires and werewolves, we will make them unavailable until people pick up humans.

Exceptions are can be made, but if we notice a pattern, we will try and even things out a bit.
