Hydra has been a secret organization that’s beginnings are enshrouded in as much mystery as the organization itself. Some have said the origin reaches as far back as ancient Egypt while others that specialize in its history argue that the ties of Hydra’s birth are deeply tangled with the Nazi powers and due to a power struggle headed east. In recent years, however, Hydra’s secrecy has leapt over the hurdles of retaining its mystery; keeping the likes of the UN and the world unaware of Hydra and their full purpose. With the world still fairly blind to their intentions or even their existence, Hydra can keep going in being the virus that will cause mankind to bend to their will.
The Supreme Hydra is a position that has been regarded as the highest among the ranks of the society. Some think that the rank has been the same person since it has reached the western side of the Globe, others believe it is a position that has been passed down to a new ambitious leader every ten years or so. No one really knows who the Supreme Hydra is except for that individual. They never meet in person when discussing an operation. Only their voice is disguised and heard through an intercom. Bases have their own leader, but even they don’t who is the puppeteer pulling their strings.
One of Hydra’s biggest asset is its ability to rebuild after failure. If the group seems to be destroyed, Hydra rebuilds itself in three other locations and stronger than before. With their labs underground and usually masked as Drug companies or weapons manufacturers, there are many operations being run within a single base. Their objective is clear...
